The Jerk Bait Hook is a genuine replacement for the hook rigged on our Pork Shad. This hook has a hitch-hiker (bait keeper) and a uniquely styled weighted eye. The weighted eye causes the bait to fall at a slightly greater speed and deeper than fishing weightless for those fish located at depth. Made with a Mustad hook, this tackle is specially designed and weighted to deliver the best bait action and give you the best chance of hooking up your favorite fish.

Holy Cow - what a great jerkbait hook!!!!! I used for the first time this past weekend - the fish were less than helpful at attaching themselves to the end of my line. My brother and partner in a local charity tournament was fishing a black and blue jig around cypress trees and had two in the boat. I still did not have a fish to my name. I pulled open my new bag of watermelon seed Pork Shad jerkbaits and noticed they came with one of these hooks. The bite was tough - gave this hook a try. Tied it on and proceeded to pull the remaining 3 bass into the boat to give us a limit going 9.13 lbs. It didn't give us the win, but it did open my eyes to the future potential of this hook and it's ability to get a soft jerkbait to fish in slightly deeper water. These fish were not coming to the top for anything, but they did come close to the top to suck in this fisherman's Pork Shad. I'm a believer and will be ordering up some more of these hooks in the near future. You've got the "Real Deal" here - no question about it.
