The High-Tail is a smaller version of the Super High-Tail. The High-Tail gets its name from the fact that when it sinks, it sinks head first and tail high. The tails are designed to spin freely and not tangle, making our bait appear alive when pulled through the water, rather than dead like similar creature baits offered by our competitors. Fish see this bait enter its space and they don’t know what it is because they haven’t seen anything like it, but fish will strike to get rid of it or to kill it. The action of the wings and the tails, plus the ringed body that produces vibration that bass hear attracts fish and triggers strikes.

The High-Tail can be rigged as a jig trailer.
Texas rig this bait with a weight pegged or screwed to the head.
It is a good bed fishing bait, fished similar to using a crawfish bait.
It is a wonderful finesse bait for flippin’ around boat docks and other structure. It is especially deadly during the post-spawning period when fishing for big fish. The design of the wings and the tails cause them to flutter as it falls through the water. Fish along the edge of structure; it will fall slowly replicating a creature that has been knocked into the water making it easy prey to a waiting big fish.
